SOAP MAKING |
18+ |
| ||
|
You know you've wanted to try it, now is your chance. Experience a modern spin on a once common household task. Modern soap making isn't like back in grandma's day, it can be fun and creative too. Save money, control the ingredients in your cleaning products and impress family and friends. We use lye, with vegetable fats and oils. Herbs, colorants and essential oils will be on hand to embellish your basic recipe. You will watch a demonstration of hot process soap making and then create your own cold process soap. If you'd like we can do a soap swap at the end of the workshop so everyone gets a variety of soaps! |

This new feature for 2012 highlights classes and workshops we did when we were young. Over the years we got busy with family and careers and forgot or left those experiences behind. This is an opportunity to revisit these skills and experience them again with a new appreciation. We hope you find something to your liking. If you would like to suggest a future workshop please feel free to contact us.
