HAWK TALK

Ever wonder which hawk is flying overhead?  Jay Sheets will introduce you to the fun of hawk watching.  Class will focus on raptor identification, taxonomy (naming of raptors), enrichment and conservation.  There will be  LIVE raptor presentations (as permitted by US Fish and Wildlife) and a field trip to find hawks.  If possible, bring binoculars to the first class to go over optics.  The final class will be a field trip.

OWLS - THE MYSTERIOUS RAPTORS                               18+

AARP DRIVER'S SAFETY PROGRAM

50+ (Open to all Ages)

This course is designed for drivers 50 years and older to to identify and offer solutions for age related physical changes such as eyesight, hearing, mobility and reaction time.  New laws that affect driving will be highlighted.  A certification of completion will be issued that can be submitted to your insurance company where in most instances you can receive a three year discount.

Healing after the death of someone close to you is easier when you are part of a support group. Support groups can help you learn about the experience of grieving, develop coping strategies, and gain insight and strength from the shared experiences of the group members.  To provide the most benefit to the group new members may not join after the second meeting.  All instructor fees from this class will go to benefit ARD Youth Assistance fund.
