DISCOVERY CLUB - Before and After School Programs
Are you looking for a safe, creative and fun environment for your elementary school-aged
child during the school year? Our state licensed before and after school Discovery
Club programs are located in Auburn, Newcastle, and Skyridge Elementary schools.
Our committed staff fulfills all licensing requirements: 18 years of age or older,
CPR/1st aid certified, DOJ clearances, ECE units+. Kindergarteners are safely escorted
to and from their classrooms by experienced staff. Healthy snacks are served daily.
Homework assistance, arts and crafts, sports, cooking, community service projects,
and personal enrichment are just some of the great activities awaiting your child.
Discovery Club does not operate during school closures such as holidays or teacher
in-service days. See Discovery Day Camp for a list of available days. Although we
do operate on regularly scheduled minimum days, we do not operate for early releases,
late starts or closures due to snow days, severe weather, power outages or other
circumstances beyond our control.

SUMMER DISCOVERY DAY CAMP - New reduced rate this year!
Summer Discovery Day Camp operates at the Day Camp modulars at Recreation Park from
June 11 through August 10th for children who have completed kindergarten (or age
6 by June 1st) through sixth grades. Hours of Operation are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for
full day, 7:00 am to 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm for half day. Registration
is $25 per family and includes a t-shirt for each camper registered. Cost is $26
for full days, $18 for half days (drop-in $2 extra if space is available). Full session
rates include a discount. Swimming is included, but field trips are $10 each for
all campers. Day Camp Handbooks are issued at day camp. Our Counselor-in-Training
program is available for campers who have completed 7th, 8th or 9th grades. The above
