PAINT YOUR PET

Bring an 8.5register now x 11” photo of your pet to class and learn how to transfer the image to a canvas and paint in the lines to create an awesome abstract of your pet. Or bring a photo of the pet of a friend or loved one and surprise them with a gift. (If you don’t have an 8.5 x 11” print, email a picture to Susie and she will have it for you at the class. susiebell25@gmail.com)

paint night

Paint Night for all ages! Enjoy snacks along with beverages and learn to paint. Or just enjoy a glass of wine while you paint. Working from an easy to paint picture and get complete instruction on how to paint it. All materials are provided and you go home with a beautiful painting you can enjoy or give for a gift.

Not just for your kids now! Classic moves and new age moves combined in a family class. You will work on individual moves and put them together to form combinations and routines. Please wear comfortable clothing that can be tucked in or is tight to the body.

NEW CLASS

SEWING: A LOST ART

Come learn the sewing survival skills with Michele. This basic class will start with learning to darn a sock and move on to mending tears and failed seams. Class will also include tailoring to fit, seam ripping, repairing, shorten or lenghten a hem and finally, meeting the machine.

BEGINNING GUITAR

This class offers an introduction to the Guitar. We will work on tuning, strumming, picking and basic chords, along with reading some tablature and simple music notations. Dust off that guitar and come experience the joy of the jam!

FAITH’S DOG TRAINING

All about the basics - socialization skills, boundaries, appropriate dog body language including: come, sit, down, stay and walking under control on a leash. All dogs must have current vaccinations, Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella. Bring a 4-6’ leash, collar and clean-up bags.

CPR / First Aid

This class teaches adult and infant CPR as well as training with the Automated External Defibrillator. Fee includes the cost of an American Red Cross card good for two years. Learn the basics of First Aid with hands-on classroom experience. Fee includes the cost of an American Red Cross certificate, good for three years. This class qualifies boys and girls for scout merit badges.

Sunset / Full Moon Paddles

We’ll glide through introductory skills before cutting our quiet paths across the water and into hidden swamps and channels. All beneath the fascinating light and ghostly shadows of the setting sun and rising moon. We’ll have the stillness of the lake to ourselves but for the sounds of animals and birds settling down at twilight.

LEARN TO KAYAK (LAKE & CALM WATERS)

Seize the Day and leave your worries and fears behind you. This small group class is the easiest way for anyone to try kayaking. Our stable kayaks and experienced instructors will show you how simple, safe and fun kayaking really is. Did you know that kids and women usually pick it up the quickest? Bring a friend and make a day of it exploring the Lake’s hidden spots and learning the basics of how to be under your own power on the water.
