CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY This course explores the practice of photography as a means of creative expression accessible to anyone. The focus is on using the core principles of photography — exposure, composition, color, and contrast — as a toolset for unique and personal creative expression. This course will also cover the fundamentals of digital image post-processing, on Mac/PC and on mobile. A collaborative roundtable discussion of the work assigned and subjects discussed is a key element of the course and important for creative growth.
LOCATION Innervoice Media, 381 Nevada St, Auburn ( Flex Studio) Equipment: Students must have a DSLR or Mirrorless (non-fixed lens) camera with the ability to shoot RAW/DNG files.

CREATIVE WRITING FOR SHORT MEDIA This course provides an intro to the process of creative writing for short form video. Students will explore story, narrative, message and voice while writing for a variety of audiences, platforms and purposes. Students will learn the process and unique requirements of writing for short form narrative (short and micro short film), traditional and modern documentary, commercial, informational and journalistic pieces. Students will be expected to write consistently throughout the course. A collaborative roundtable discussion of the work assigned and subjects discussed is a key element of the course and important for creative growth.

KAYAKING FOR BOOMERS 50+ Kayaking is great for fitness or escaping the hustle and bustle and it’s easy on the joints and body. We use very stable, user friendly kayaks making it easy for anyone to participate in a small group, stress-free paddle.
