ABOUT ARD

The Auburn Area Recreation & Park District was established in 1948 on the site at Recreation Drive, Auburn, California. The District boundaries cover approximately 100 square miles, from Auburn to Meadow Vista and extending to the Bear River. 2000 census figures estimate the District population of approximately 50,000.

The District consists of 10 parks with fields and recreation facilities. There are also neighborhood parks throughout the city in which ARD maintains. We have a diverse selection of recreation programs and facilities for our community to enjoy.
